Christmas Eve Dinner Menu
December 27th, 2006
Traditional Italian antipasto plate.
Shrimp cocktail.
Salad of mixed greens with dill and pomegranate.
Nana’s Italian Stuffed Peppers.
Linguini with homemade clam sauce, including fresh steamers.
Baked cod with olive, tomato and orange relish.
Lightly seared asparagus with lemon and olive oil.
Lots of wine.
Apple-cranberry pie, still warm from the oven.
Tay did most of the cooking, I did the baking, we both did the shopping (with Mom!). We take our Christmas dinner VERY seriously. And ate for over four hours.
Jessa,
I am soo jealous. It looks scrumptious. Tell Sara she can cook a meal like this for me when she visits and I will do the shopping and provide the wine.
Merry Christmas.
Hola-
Lauren here from Vagabond last night. It was fun seeing you and I don’t know whether to thank you or curse you for introducing me to the basil martini. I woke up this morning dreaming of another….
Is that real, or did you steal those photos from a magazine and claim them as your Christmas dinner? The meal looks beautiful.
I have to ask… Was the light natural, or was it manipulated for the photo? It’s so warm… It looks like a perfect evening.
